Mentor-at-Home

What is it?

Mentor-at-Home is an online mentorship experience where we match mentees with mentors, with the aim making mentorship more accessible, and fun. Its speed-dating-style format gives mentees quick access to a variety of mentors so they can decide who they feel chemistry with and which relationship they might want to take forward. It offers a way to hear many different perspectives in just an hour without the pressure of committing to a drawn-out mentorship relationship.

How did it start?

During the 2020 lockdown, talent platform inVisible Creatives and us join forces to bring people together and create a safe place for people to talk about how they were feeling and how the pandemic was changing the way they looked at their careers. After a break of a couple of years, we’re now launching Mentor-at-Home 2.0.

So far, we’ve matched 300 creatives from around the world. We have partnered with the One Show, Cannes Lions, Festival el Dorado and Creative Circles globally. Many people we matched have stayed in contact, at a frequency that suits them. We have found that mentors get at least as much out of the experience as mentees do.
